These 9 days help in detoxifying your system, refreshing your digestion and making you feel lighter and healthier from within. Along with that, it reconnects you spiritually and with inner peace and our rich culture that has been passed down to generations.
1 cup samak rice
1 boiled potato
1 table spoon Ghee
1 table spoon Cumin seeds (Jeera)
1 green chilli (Chopped)
Rock salt (Sendha namak)
Fresh coriander leaves.
Step 1: Wash the samak rice with 2 to 3 rinse properly and then soak it for half an hour.
Step 2: Heat the pan, add 1 tbsp ghee, then add cumin seeds and let them crackle.
Step 3: Add green chilli and peanuts and let them turn into golden brown.
Step 4: Add boiled potatoes and cook for 2 minutes.
Step 5: Now add soaked samak rice and mix all the ingredients well.
Step 6: Pour water and add sendha namak (rock salt).
Step 7: Cook it for 10 to 15 minutes or wait for 2 complete whistles in cooker.
Step 8: Garnish it with fresh, finely chopped coriander leaves.

2-3 boiled potatoes
1 table spoon ghee
1 table spoon Jeera (cumin seeds)
1-2 finely chopped green chilli
1 hand full of curry leaves and peanuts
Sendha namak, according to taste.
1 Chopped tomato.
1: Heat a pan, add ghee and cumin seeds
2: Then add chopped green chilli, along with curry leaves and peanuts.
3: When the peanuts turned dark brown, then add chopped tomato and with that add rock salt according to taste.
4: When tomatoes get softer, then add the boiled slightly messed potatoes.
5: Cook it all till it get slightly crispy.
6: Now garnish it with fresh coriander leaves, if you like and serve.
Just take simple bowl of fresh curd and add a pinch of sendha namak and roasted cumin seeds powder, and then add 2 grated cucumbers in the same curd bowl, mix it well, you can also add sugar, if you like having sweet & sour combination. And here your quick rayta is ready in no time.

1-2 green chilli, cumin seeds
Hand full of peanuts & curry leaves
1 boiled potatoes (Chopped)
Rock salt, as per taste
1 tbsp ghee
Lemon (Optional)
The preparation method almost be the same as aloo jeera recipe, just take a pan, heat it, add ghee and cumin seeds, green chillies, then curry leaves and peanuts. Let it cooked then add chopped potato, and after few minutes, add sabudana (tapioca pearls), along with rock salt and let it properly cooked, you can add a pinch of turmeric powder too. when the sabudana turn transparent from white, off the flame, squeeze half lemon (Optional) and enjoy!
