  • 1 can (21 Ounce) apple pie filling cinnamon

  • Shredded Cheddar Cheese (Optional)

  • Seasoning salt and black pepper

Stuffing:

  • 1 box stove top stuffing mix (Pork or chicken flavor)


Instructions

  1. Prepare the stuffing first: Prepare according to package's direction. If you want, you can add a tablespoon of apple pie filling with shredded cheddar cheese in the stuffing mix.

  2. Brown the pork chops: Heat oil in the skillet over medium-high heat and brown the pork chops from both sides, with the seasoning of salt and black pepper.

  3. Assemble the dish: Spread the apple pie filling in the bottom of a greased baking pan, place the browned pork chops on top of the apple pie filling, spoon the prepared stuffing over the pork chops.

  4. Bake: Cover the baking pan and bake it approximately for 35 to 40 minutes at 350°F. Uncover and bake for an additional 10 minutes.
